The province of Ragusa is part of the Val di Noto and offers nature lovers and hiking countless opportunities'.

Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla today boast of being one of the most 'large sites for  UNESCO  quntita' of monuments and churches, examples are the cathedral of St. George built in 1775 by architect RosarioGagliardi, the wooden door divided into six panels depicting martyrdom of the saint, the church of Santa Maria delle Scale, and the Santa Maria dell'Itria Church, Church of the Souls in Purgatory, built in 1658, resisted the terremonto and therefore e 'to be considered one of the most' ancient Ibla and other monuments.

A few kilometers from the town you will find the archaeological excavations in kamarina with its museum, the castello di Kamarina , the Castle of Donnafugata, Lake Santa Rubella.
